Wilmington's Premier Table Tennis Academy

Born from a vision to build Wilmington’s own table tennis community, WTTA was founded by Ken Norris after recognizing the need for a dedicated space for players to connect and grow in Wilmington. After a year of searching and countless calls for the right home, Lutheran Church of Reconciliation welcomed the academy. WTTA was built to bring Wilmington together through play, competition, and a shared passion for the game.

Instructor Rod Becker

Rod Becker brings years of experience playing alongside a wide range of athletes, from casual players to highly skilled competitors. Through this, he recognized a clear gap between simply playing the game and truly understanding the techniques behind it.

His coaching philosophy is centered on closing that gap. Rod focuses on building strong fundamentals and proper technique, helping players learn more efficiently and progress with confidence.

He works with both beginner and intermediate players, creating a structured yet supportive environment for growth. For Rod, the most important quality in any player is attitude. If you are willing to learn, stay consistent, and improve, he is committed to helping you reach the next level.
